- Telangana Deputy CM Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka Mingles with Mudigonda Locals
An inspiring display of simplicity, warmth, and people-centric leadership was witnessed at the Mudigonda mandal headquarters on Saturday. During his visit to the Madhira Assembly constituency, Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka set aside protocol and his official stature to spend time among ordinary citizens in a simple and informal manner, reflecting his deep commitment to public welfare.
A Simple Gesture

In a gesture that caught many by surprise, the Deputy Chief Minister stopped his convoy at the Neel Kamal Tea Stall in the Mudigonda centre and sat on a bench alongside local people to have a cup of tea. Passers-by and residents were pleasantly surprised to see a high-ranking leader mingling with them like a common man. A crowd quickly gathered to catch a glimpse and speak with him, while enthusiastic youngsters took selfies alongside him. Bhatti Vikramarka greeted everyone warmly with a smile, winning widespread appreciation from the locals.
Direct Interaction on Welfare and Issues

While at the tea stall, the Deputy Chief Minister engaged in warm conversations with local women, enquiring about their well-being, the challenges they faced, and whether government welfare schemes were effectively reaching beneficiaries at the grassroots level. He also took time to speak directly with roadside petty vendors, including Banoth Ramji and vegetable vendor Narasamma, seeking their feedback on the ongoing road-widening works in Mudigonda. When Narasamma expressed happiness over the wider roads, other residents pointed out that they had lost their homes due to the expansion project. Addressing their concerns, Bhatti Vikramarka assured them that no one needed to worry and that the government would provide proper housing to every displaced family.
Instant Relief and Spot Assurances
Furthermore, the Deputy Chief Minister interacted specially with Palle Nagabhushanam, a roadside cobbler, asking about his traditional occupation and family background. Upon learning about the hardships caused by dust and hearing the request for financial assistance to set up a small shop, Bhatti Vikramarka responded immediately. He assured Nagabhushanam that loan assistance of up to one lakh rupees under the Rajiv Yuva Vikasam scheme would be sanctioned in the name of his son, Palle Suresh. Similarly, when a poor woman named Endroti Yashoda from Venkatapuram village shared her struggles of living in a rented house with her two daughters, the Deputy Chief Minister promptly directed the local officials to ensure she was allotted a house site and a house under the upcoming Indiramma Indlu housing list.
Surprise Inspection of Development Works

Continuing his outreach, the Deputy Chief Minister conducted a surprise inspection of the ongoing construction work at the 50-bed Community Health Centre in Mudigonda. While expressing satisfaction with the progress made so far, he instructed officials to speed up the remaining work. He also inspected the ongoing road-widening, cement concrete road, and underground drainage projects in the town, strictly advising authorities to maintain high-quality standards. By balancing administrative reviews with direct, empathetic interactions to resolve the grievances of ordinary people, Bhatti Vikramarka’s approachable and grounded leadership left a lasting, positive impression on the residents of Mudigonda.
